2PM Leader Jae-bum Causes Chaos

Summary : On September 4, 2009, articles surfaced on the internet that 2PM music group member Jae-bums posts on his personal Myspace account about his dislike for Korea back in 2005 when he was still a trainee for JYP Entertainment. Jae-bum issued an apology for this matter. Although outraged protesters demanded that Jaebeom should be forced out of 2PM, JYP Entertainment CEO Park Jin-young stated on September 7 that he was going to continue to remain part of the group. The following day, Jaebeom announced on his offical fancafe that he would be leaving the group and returning to the United States, and apologized to the other 2PM members for not being a good leader and older brother to the group. 2PM is a seven-member boy band from Seoul, South Korea managed by JYP Entertainment. The current members are Junsu, Junho, Nichkhun, Taecyeon, Wooyoung, Jae-bumm and Chansung. 2PM is one of the two subgroups branched out from the eleven-member boy band One Day, the other being 2AM[More...][Less...]

Summary : One of Korea top actresses has gotten married under tight security in the United States. Lee Young-ae(38) tied the knot with a Korean-American businessman 16 years her senior living in the USA, said a spokesman for Dongin Law Group, the actress legal consultant. The groom, known only by his last name Jeong, is a graduate of University of Illinois and an entrepreneur in the IT sector. Only close family members and friends attended the ceremony, The couple had dated for about ten years, but the relationship was kept very low-key. Lee is one of the few actresses in Korea who has not been involved in a relationship scandal. Is TVXQ On The Verge Of Break-up

Summary : Is TVXQ boys were on the verge of a break. It has been reported that three of the five boys, Jae-joong, Jun-su and Yoo-chun have filed a law-suit against SM Entertainment. They were unsatisfied with their 13 year [slave] contract and it seems that the boys were given only a measly 10% of the profits. Despite this big mess, it seems that all five members of TVXQ have no desire to completely break their contract with SM Entertainment, but rather they want to revise their contract to get more benefits and freedom. Both TVXQ and SM Entertainment have released official statements to clarify their stand points. SM would be stupid to give up a cash cow like TVXQ and it is in the companies best interests to compromise with the boys.
