၂၀၀၀ ခုႏွစ္ ေလာက္ ကစၿပီး တဟုန္ထိုး ေခတ္စါး လာတဲ့ ကိုးရီးယား ရုပ္ရွင္ ဗီဒီယို ဇါတ္လမ္းတြဲ နဲ႔ သီခ်င္း ေတြကို ရည္ညႊန္း ၿပီး ၂၀၀၁ ခုႏွစ္ ေလာက္က တရုတ္ သတင္းစာ ဆရာတဦး ဟာ Korean Wave (ဝါ) ကိုးရီးယား လွိဳင္လံုး လို႔ ကင္ပြန္း တပ္ခဲ့ ပါတယ္။ ကိုးရီးယား လို "Hallyu" လို႔ လည္ ေခၚၾကပါတယ္။
