၂၀၀၁ ခုႏွစ္ေလာက္ ထဲက ကိုးရီးယား TV, movies, music, fashion စတာေတြ အလြန္ ေပၚျပဴလာ တဲ့ ျဖစ္ရပ္ ကို တရုတ္ journalist တဦး မွ Korean Wave ရယ္လို႔ အမည္ တပ္ ေပးခဲ့ ပါတယ္။

Korean Wave ကို ကိုးရီးယား ဘာသာနဲ႔ Hallyu လို႔ လည္း ေခၚ ပါတယ္။ ဒါေပမဲ့ ဒီ Wave ဟာ အားနည္း လာၿပီး လို႔ လည္း ေျပာ လာၾက ပါတယ္။ အတက္ ရွိရင္ မက် ဆို တာလည္း ရွိရ မွာပါ။

မၾကာခင္ က Korea Foundation for International Culture Exchange (KOFICE) က စာရင္း ေကာက္ သူတို႔ ဟာ Beijing, Tokyo, Hong Kong နဲ႔ Taipei တို႔မွ အသက္ ၁၅ ႏွစ္နဲ႔ ၅၉ ႏွစ္ အတြင္ ရွိသူ ႏွစ္ေထာင္ ေက်ာ္ ကို စစ္တမ္း ေကာက္ၾကည့္ ခဲ့ၾက ပါတယ္။

ရရွိတဲ့ အေျဖ ေတြ ထဲက နမူနာ အခ်ိဳ ႔ ကို ေဖၚျပ အပ္ ပါတယ္။
