The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince ("Coffee Prince"), MBC's popular drama, with an over 30% rating (Mon/Tues), is set to being appearing on mobile phones.

Actors Jeong Ae-ri and Jo Min-ki have been selected as winners of the special volunteer award of the Inter-Parliamentarians for Social Service. The two will receive the award on August 24 at the organization's general meeting that will be held at the Hotel Shilla in Seoul.

Before user created content, there was Resfest. This touring festival, whichfirts came to Korea in 2000, was a revelation to experimental directors of digital films who wanted to have fun with their cameras. Times have changed.
Digital films have now risen from the underground and are swimming in the mainstream. Over the years the festival has entertained major-league directors like Spike Jonze and Michel Gondry.

Can a troubled American find happiness trapped in North Korea?
That's the question addressed in the documentary "Crossing the Line", which opens in Korea today.
"Every person I've talked to who has seen the movie has a different opinion", said Daniel Gordon, the director and producer of the film.
Gordon, filming his third documentary in North Korea, shot the piece on location, visiting frequently over a nine-month period.

"Dae Jang Geum" or "Jewel in the Palace", a hit television drama about a royal chef that was turned into a musical, is returning to the stage on Saturday at the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts, with some improvements.

The film "The King' and The Clown" has been recreated into a musical. 'Gonggiljeon' will be staged at Chungmu Art Hall's Grand Theater from September 15 to 30.

During the post-production conference, playwright and artistic director Lee Yun-taek emphasized that 'Gonggiljeon' is not a historical production but a love story that focuses on homosexuality and the story of a jester.

No news is good news -- such was true for those who knew James Joseph Dresnok in the early 1960s when he was struggling with myriad personal problems. Unity recently, nothing was known about how the U.S. citizen who defected to North Korea has been doing.
