Lee Pil-mo dropped a bomb on Ahn Jae-wook.

On the eighteenth episode of MBC drama Lights and Shadows, aired on January 24th, Soo-hyeok (Lee Pil-mo) told Ki-tae (Ahn Jae-wook) something surprising.

As Ki-tae started questioning Soo-hyeok about Cheol-hwan (Jeon Kwang-ryeol) and Jeong-hye (Nam Sang-mi), Soo-hyeok confessed his true feelings.

Although he knew Ki-tae had feelings for Jeong-hye as well, he rubbed him the wrong way by saying, "I will protect Jeong-hye so you don't have to worry about her".

He continued, "I love Jeong-hye. If you have any feelings for her then you should wrap them up and put them away".

Ki-tae was shocked at this situation but he gathered himself and said, "Shut up. You are the same as Cheol-hwan. How do you think you are going to protect Jeong-hye?"

Soo-hyeok had nothing more to say as the fact that he was passionate enough to succeed, like Cheol-hwan, was true and it pricked his conscience.

Meanwhile, Ki-tae, Soo-hyeok and Cheol-hwan's relationships with Jeong-hye got serious.
